How to Personalise Your Campaigns using Bouncezap’s Dynamic Content Replacement
There’s one technique that will take your conversions to a whole new level. What is it? Personalisation. Personalisation allows you to connect with your visitors and make them feel special by targeting them specifically. By using Bouncezap’s Dynamic Content Replacement tool, you can greet your visitors in a variety of ways to deliver laser-targeted popups that encourage them to take action.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to customise the content of your campaigns in three easy steps.
Step 1: Create a New Campaign
The first step is to create your campaign. If you’re unsure how to do this, check out our step-by-step guide which walks you through the entire process.
Step 2: Set up Dynamic Content Replacement
After determining your goal and selecting your popup template, head to the “Design” tab to enable Bouncezap’s Dynamic Content Replacement.
Hover over your popup, and you’ll see a gear icon (as shown below). Once you see it, right-click on the popup.
This will open a dialog box, which will allow you to customise your Dynamic Content Replacement settings. Next to “Select Dynamic Text Type”, click “Alternative Text” and select your variable. In the example below, we’ve selected “First Name”.
In the box underneath, you can enter a personalised text message, for example, “Hi USERNAME, welcome back”. Leave the “Click action” as it is, select your text alignment, and then finally, click “Save settings” to save your campaign.
Step 3: Activate Your Campaign
By default, any new campaign you create will be inactive, to prevent any campaigns going live that you’re not ready to activate. To toggle your campaign, click on the power icon below “Status”. Once your campaign is activated, the icon will turn green.
That’s all there is to it! Your Dynamic Content Replacement campaign is now active. You can preview your personalised campaign by hovering over the magnifying glass icon in your dashboard, under “Preview and Test”.
